Which NUDA self tanning product is right for me?

If you are looking to achieve a fabulous natural-looking complexion with a streak-free application, you should select one of our amazing Self Tanning Mousses. Formulated with a color guide to ensure an even application, our Self Tanning Mousses are available in three different intensities to suit all skin types: Medium, Dark and Ultra Dark.

If you are wanting a gorgeous healthy glow for your face, you should choose our Face Tan Water. Made especially for the face, the Face Tan Water will get you that dreamy glow, without clogging your pores or breaking you out. Plus, it’s super refreshing and can be applied in a few seconds only!

If you are seeking for something more gradual and subtle, you should select our Self Tanning Lotion. Ultra-nourishing and lightweight, our Self Tanning Lotion will offer you a luminous tan.

Should I choose the Medium, Dark or Ultra Dark Self Tanning Mousse?

The Medium shade is perfect for those fair to medium skin tones or first-time tanners who are looking to achieve a natural-looking complexion. 

The Dark shade is perfect for those medium to dark skin tones who are looking for a dark golden glow. 

The Ultra-Dark shade is perfect for those dark skin tones or experienced tanners looking for a rich and deep complexion.

Are NUDA products vegan & cruelty-free?

All NUDA products are 100% vegan and cruelty-free. They are only tested on NUDA babes!

Where are the NUDA products made?

NUDA products are made in Canada and in the United States.

Will NUDA products transfer on clothing or sheets?

Although NUDA’s formulas have been formulated to dry quickly and to be transfer resistant, we recommend wearing loose fitting, dark clothing after the application. If you are to sleep with your tan, we recommend wearing full length clothing. The solution is water-soluble and can easily be removed from most fabrics.

Will my tan get patchy if I exercise?

Your tan should stay even and streak-free. However heavy sweating on a regular basis can result in faster fading.

How long do I need to wait before showering after applying NUDA?

NUDA self tanning products can be rinsed off after 6 hours, but for a deeper tan we advise avoiding showering, swimming, and perspiring for 6 to 10 hours to allow your tan to develop fully on the skin.

Do NUDA products protect my skin from UV rays?

No, NUDA’s self tanning products do not contain any UV-protective agents. Our products do not protect skin from being sunburned and your skin can still tan. You should always apply sunscreen prior to sun exposure.

What is DHA?

DHA (Dihydroxyacetone) is the active ingredient in most sunless tanning products. It is a sugar molecule which is naturally-derived from the beets or the sugar cane. This ingredient reacts to the amino acids on the surface of the skin to simulate a tan. The intensity of the final tan will depend on the strength of DHA contained within the product.

Where can I find a sale point for the NUDA skincare products?

We do have a lot of retailers in Canada and in the United States. However, there is no detailed list of all the locations that sell NUDA products. You can shop them right here on our website.

Are NUDA self tanning products safe for pregnant women?

DHA (Dihydroxyacetone) acts only on the top layer of the skin. NUDA’s formulas are non-toxic and there is no evidence that demonstrates the harmfulness of DHA. However, each pregnancy is different, and we recommend consulting your doctor if you have any questions prior use.

Which payment methods are accepted?

Face Tan Water

Why is the Face Tan Water clear?

There’s no colour guide inside the Face Tan Water as it’s made especially for the face. This soothing and refreshing Face Tan Water is made with DHA (Dihydroxyacetone) which is the active ingredient that reacts with the amino acids of the skin in order to create a gorgeous sunless tan.

If I have acne-prone or sensitive skin, can I still use the Face Tan Water?

Yes! While creating the Face Tan Water we kept in mind delicate and sensitive skin types. This product is clear, lightweight and made with gentle ingredients that prevent breakouts. As there is no colour guide in the product, it will not clog the pores. The Face Tan Water is also alcohol-free and made with soothing and nourishing ingredients for the skin.  

What kind of tan should I expect with this product?

The Face Tan Water offers a buildable effect. The more is applied, the darker the result gets. To maintain a constant result, we suggest applying the product 2 to 3 times a week, while ensuring proper exfoliation. The daily use of serums, creams, masks or makeup can affect the longevity of the result. 

What is the difference between the Face Tan Water Original and the Face Tan Water Dark?

The Original Face Tan Water offer a gradual and buildable result and was created for pale to medium skin tone. Whereas the Face Tan Water Dark gives amore intense tan and was created for medium to dark skin tone. 

How long should I wait before rinsing off the Face Tan Water?

The tan develops over 6 hours after application. We recommend the application to be made before going to bed or in the morning. Contact with liquids should be avoided during the development period. 

Can I apply this product with my face cream? 

We recommend the product to be applied on a bare and clean face. However, if the application of a face cream is necessary, we recommend applying it prior to spraying the Face Tan Water. 

Self Tanning Lotion

Can I use the Self Tanning Lotion on my face? 

While the Self Tanning Lotion is made with a bunch of amazing clean ingredients, we recommend using the Face Tan Water when tanning the face. While creating the Face Tan Water we kept in mind delicate and sensitive skin types. This product is clear, lightweight and made with gentle ingredients that prevent breakouts. We recommend applying the Face Tan Water first on the face and neck to create a natural-looking glow. The Self Tanning Lotion can then be applied to the rest of the body.

Should I moisturize before applying the Self Tanning Lotion?

To ensure an even and spotless result, we recommend the application of the Body Cream on drier areas, such as hands, feet, elbows and knees before applying the Self Tanning Lotion. 

Can I mix the Self Tanning Lotion with my body cream?

The Self Tanning Lotion is made to hydrate the skin while giving it a natural-looking glow. However, this product can be mixed with a body cream for a more subtle result. 

Self Tanning Mousse

How long should I wait before rinsing off the Self Tanning Mousse?

The Self Tanning Mousse should be rinsed after a minimum of 6 hours for best results. Contact with liquids should be avoided during the development period. 

How many applications can I get from one bottle?

The Self Tanning Mousse is allowing up to 8 full-body applications. Usage will vary depending on the quantity of product applied.

Can I use the Self Tanning Mousse on my face?

While the Self Tanning Mousse is made with a bunch of amazing clean ingredients, we recommend using the Face Tan Water when tanning the face. The Face Tan Water has been created considering delicate and sensitive skin. This product is clear, lightweight and made with gentle ingredients that prevent breakouts. We recommend applying the Face Tan Water first on the face and neck to create a natural-looking glow. The Self Tanning Mousse can then be applied to the rest of the body. 

Can I sleep with the Self Tanning Mousse on?

The Self Tanning Mousse can be left on the skin overnight. This product has been formulated to offer a quick-drying process. However, sleeping in long clothing will help to prevent transfers on sheets. 

How long will the Self Tanning Mousse last on my skin?

Everyone’s skin is different, but The Self Tanning Mousse usually lasts up to 7 days when combined with a daily application of the Body Cream and a proper preparation of the skin with the Body Exfoliant. An exfoliated and moisturized skin will ensure a long-lasting tan and an even fading. 

How do I get a perfect finish on my hands and feet?

Prior to using the Self Tanning Mousse we recommend applying a fine layer of Body Cream on hands and feet, to avoid the mousse developing darker on dryer areas. We recommend applying the Self Tanning Mousse on the arms and legs and then spread what is left of the product on the mitt on hands and feet. For a streak-free finish, we recommend using a clean and dry blending brush to blend the product on hands and feet after the application. 

Body Cream

When should I use the Body Cream?

The Body Cream should be used daily for an intense hydration to allow glowy and healthy skin. We also recommend applying the Body Cream before using the Self Tanning Mousse or Self Tanning Lotion. Apply a fine layer of cream on drier areas such as hands, feet, elbows and knees.

Can I use this product when I have a self tanning product on?

The daily application of the Body Cream is the secret to extend the longevity of your self tan result. The Body Cream has been formulated with ingredients that are safe for your self tan and that will ensure an ultimate hydration.

Why is the Body Cream so moisturizing?

The Body Cream is made with amazing nourishing ingredients such as avocado oil, Shea butter, vitamin E and Aloe Vera to keep your skin smooth and hydrated.

Body Exfoliant

When should I use the Body Exfoliant? 

The skin should be exfoliated 2 to 4 times before applying a self tanning product to remove dead skin cells from the body and ensure a smooth skin. Exfoliation should be done 24 hours before applying a self tanning product to make sure there are no residues left on the skin. The Body Exfoliant should also be used when tan result starts to fade in order to remove old tan residues from the skin and proceed to a new self tan application. 

Why is it essential to use the Body Exfoliant before applying a self tanning product?

The exfoliation is an essential part of a beautiful and even self tan result. In order to avoid unwanted patchy and flaky results, it’s important to remove all dead skin cells and old tan residues from the skin. 

How can I ensure an optimal exfoliation?

To ensure a perfect exfoliation, we recommend using the Body Exfoliant paired with the Exfoliating Mitt. The best way to exfoliate the skin is by soaking in a warm bath for 10–20 minutes and use the Exfoliating Mitt. As the skin softens, it will be easier to remove the dead skin cells and old tan residue. Complete your exfoliation by applying the Body Exfoliant in circular motion, then rinse it off. 

Body Wash

Why is this Body Wash perfect to use as an aftercare product for sunless tanning?

Because it’s made without all the ingredients that can rip off your tan or create discoloration. This Body Wash is free of sulfates, petroleum, mineral oil, parabens and alcohol.

Is this Body Wash safe for sensitive skin?

Yes! The Body Wash ingredients have been selected carefully to ensure a smooth and fresh skin. However, as all skin types are different, we recommend testing the product on a part of your body prior to regular usage. 

Body Shimmer

Does this product stain clothing?

No! This Body Shimmer has a fast-drying and non-sticky formula, which leaves your skin glowy and hydrated. If there is ever transfer on your clothes, the product is easily washable and does not stain clothing permanently.

What kind of result should I expect with this product?

The Body Shimmer offers a golden and shimmery effect. A small quantity can be applied on your collarbones, arms, legs or shoulders to enhance your natural complexion by providing an extra glow. To ensure an even result, we suggest applying the product on a well hydrated skin. Avoid contact with water after the application.

Can I apply this product on my face?

We recommend the product to be applied on the body, but you can use it on your cheeks, nose and upper brows to enhance your glow as a make-up highlight. 

Matte Bronzing Powder

For which skin types, this product was formulated?

Our Bronzer was formulated for people with a fair-to-medium-skin tone. The chocolate tint in the powder will allow you to complete your make-up while adapting perfectly to your complexion depending on the amount of products applied. 

Is this product good for sensitive skin?

Yes! This powder is enriched with skin living ingredients that will nourish your skin without being harsh. It is also free of paraben and mineral oil. 

Does this tint be used for contouring?

Of course! Use a contouring brush to build your contour and highlight your natural beauty. 

Tan Remover

How long should I let the product sit on my skin before rubbing it off?

The product can be left for 5 minutes on the skin before rinsing it off. 

How long after applying a self tanning product should I wait before using the Tan Remover?

The Tan Remover can be used to rub off fake tan 3 to 4 days after applying it on the skin. 

Should I use the Exfoliating Mitt with the Tan Remover?

The use of the Exfoliating Mitt is highly suggested to ensure a better result. By rubbing off the Tan Remover with the Exfoliating Mitt, you make sure the skin is properly exfoliated and that all old fake tan residue is removed. 

How long do I use the Tan Remover?

  • Use at least three to four days after the initial tan application. 
  • Apply the foam generously all over clean and dry skin. 
  • Massage gently and leave on for five minutes. 
  • Rinse off with warm water using the NUDA Exfoliating Mitt for best results. 
  • Use the mitt in circular motions to remove all residues.

Shipping

When will my order be shipped?

Your order will be processed and shipped within one (1) to two (2) business days following its reception. The orders placed between Friday and Sunday will be processed on Monday. The delivery delay will start once the package will be dispatched and the tracking number will be sent.

Orders are not treated during the following days:

  • Christmas Eve (December 24th);
  • Christmas day (December 25th);
  • New Years Eve (December 31st);
  • New Years (January 1st);
  • St-Jean-Baptiste day (June 24th);
  • Labour day;
  • Canadian Thanksgiving;
  • Good Friday;
  • Easter;
  • Easter Monday;
  • Victoria Day.

NUDA reserves the right to change the above schedule at any given moment and without notice.

Which delivery services do you offer?

For all Canadian orders, the packages are shipped with Purolator and Canada post.

For all American orders, the packages are shipped with USPS (via Canada Post) or with UPS. 

Please note that we ask for a mandatory signature for each delivery.

What are the shipping fees?

We offer free delivery for every order of $75* and more in Canada and in the United States. When you benefit from the free delivery for your order, the standard delivery delay applies.

*Based on the amount after promotion, before taxes and shipping. 

Quebec and Ontario

  • $9 CAD Standard Shipping: 2 to 5 business days with Purolator or Canada Post.
  • $14 CAD Express Shipping: 1 to 3 business days with Purolator or Canada Post.

Others Canadian Province

  • $9 CAD Standard Shipping: 4 to 10 business days with Canada Post.
  • $14 CAD Express Shipping: 2 to 5 business days with Canada Post. 

United States of America

  • $9 USD Standard Shipping: 5 to 12 business days with USPS, via Canada Post (no signature will be requested)*.
  • $14 USD Express Shipping: 4 to 7 business days with UPS

When will I receive my order?

Your order will be processed and shipped within one (1) to three (3) business days following its reception. The delivery delay will start once the package will be dispatched and the tracking number will be sent. 

The delivery period is from the reception of your shipping confirmation email. The email will provide you with your tracking number in order to follow your package until delivery (the number will only be valid after 24 to 48 hours upon reception of the email).

How can I track my order?

Once your order will be dispatched, you will receive a delivery tracking number by email. (The tracking number will be valid only after 24 to 48 hours).

Can you ship my order to a Postal Locker?

NUDA does not ship orders to postal lockers. The orders are only shipped and delivered to commercial or residential addresses. It is possible that your package be delivered to the postal box link to your address.

Can I modify the delivery address?

If you made an error while entering the delivery address or if you wish to modify it, please contact the NUDA team at support@nuda.ca.

NUDA will be able to modify the delivery address if the order hasn’t been shipped.

Why is a signature mandatory for my package to be delivered?

NUDA requires a signature upon delivery to avoid packaging theft. We are also requesting a signature in order to ensure the products are not left outside in really warm or cold weather which can affect the quality of the products. If you are not home when the delivery attempts, you will have to pick up your package at the courier facility.

Voice signature is available. 

What happens if my package has been returned back to NUDA?

Following the failure to claim a package it will be sent back to our warehouse. 

When the package is received at our facility, we will send you an email and proceed to the refund of the item(s). The shipping fees are non-refundable.

Returns and Refunds

What is the return policy?

All returns must be pre-approved by NUDA and the shipping fees for returning products are at the customer’s charge. If you want to return products or a full order, you must contact us at support@nuda.ca. A return address will then be provided as well as a return authorization number. The products returned without a valid authorization number will be refused and returned to you at your expense.

Sealed and unused products can be returned in the thirty (30) days following the purchase date. All returned products must be in their original packaging. Products that have been altered, opened or damaged will not be accepted.

When will I receive my refund?

All returns that have been correctly authorized will be refunded directly on your credit card or PayPal. The refund must be done on the same payment method that was used to purchase the products being returned. Allow us five (5) to seven (7) workday delays upon reception of the returned product(s) to proceed to the refund. Please note there is a 24 to 48 hours delay before seeing the refund on your credit card.

What do I do if there is an error in my order?

Please contact the NUDA team within forty-eight (48) hours following the reception of the order at support@nuda.ca. NUDA will then communicate with you in order to modify your order and establish afferent terms.

How may I signal a missing product from my order?

We apologize if an item is missing from your order. To start the replacement process, please contact the NUDA team at support@nuda.ca. You need to include images of the items you have received. Your request can be declined for insufficient information.

We will review your scanned package weight and compare a mock-up of the same package at our warehouse. If the scanned weight is less than our mock-up package, we are then able to confirm the items are genuinely missing in which we can complete the replacement process immediately.

How may I signal the reception of damaged or defective merchandise?

We apologize if your package has been damaged upon delivery. If you receive an order composed of certain damaged products, you must contact us at support@nuda.ca and join one or more pictures of the damaged products as well as the packaging.

How to cancel an order?

An order can be cancelled before being shipped. A complete refund will be transmitted within twenty-four (24) to seventy-two (72) business hours. Once the order has been shipped, the transaction is considered complete. All returns are to be submitted to our return policy clauses. If the return is accepted, the refund will be done once we’ve received the returned product(s).

What will happen if my order is declined?

A declined order especially due to an invalid shipping address is subjected to delivery and return to NUDA warehouse. Once received, the order will be refunded.

Which products are considered final sale?

  • The NUDA Robes.
  • The Nuda Brushes.
  • Sale items.
  • Any opened, used or damaged products.
  • Products sold in events or congress.
